Edna Alice Stokes (Barber)
Passed away at Rideaucrest Home in Kingston, Ontario, on Monday, October 02, 2017 at age 92. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Ronald Stokes (2015). Loving mother of Cathy Johnston (Bill) of Kingston and Dean Stokes (Merry) of Prescott, Arizona. Proud grandmother of Michael Armstrong (Kerri-Lynn), Nicole Stokes, Kevin Johnston, Lauren Vietmeier (Blake) and Eric Stokes. Great grandmother of Ethan, Cameron, Lexie, Anders, Ben, Rori and Peter. Fondly remembered by her Godchildren Ian Thomson & Lisa Burwell.

A resident of Bracebridge for many years, Edna was a talented artist and avid golfer.

Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge, Ontario, on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Thomson officiating. Interment to follow at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to support the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka, OSPCA (Muskoka Region) or the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated.
