SMITH, Donald Robert
1935-2018
Don passed away March 29, 2018, at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, two days shy of his 83rd birthday. Beloved husband of Donna. Loving father of Pat Cauley (Gary Mundell), Judy Smith (Ian McIntyre), Lorri Taylor (Glenn Taylor) and Leslie Rother (George Rother). Proud grandfather of Ryan and Carissa (Taylor Welsh) and proud Pappa of Eva & Abby. Dear brother to Bert (Joy), Harry (Judy), Ken, Joan and the late Todd, Jack, Bill, Eileen Reid and his twin brother Doug.
In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don’s life will be held at the Baysville Curling Club on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Tributes and memories will be shared at 2:00 pm. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations to support the Baysville Curling Club or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
