DEAVITT, James Gordon – Passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Monday, May 14, 2018 in his 71st year. Jim was the beloved husband of Gail. Loving father of Gordon Deavitt (Tammy), Penny Lynn Deavitt (Rob), Nicole Fyfe, and the late Stacey Hill (Matt). Cherished grandfather of Karley, Erica, Karsinn, Maddyson, Mason, and Abby. Dear brother of Grace (Harold), John (Lidy), late Patsy (late Jim), Ruth (Jeff), Dale (late Jerry), and George (Wendy). Jim will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. A Legion service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 6:45pm with visitation to follow from 7-9pm at Reynolds Funeral Home, Bracebridge, ON where the funeral will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 10:00am. Interment in the St. Thomas Cemetery with reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bracebridge.
