Patricia Anne Mitchell, formerly of Bracebridge, passed away peacefully in Orillia on November 10, 2016 . Patricia was a long time resident of Bracebridge, the beloved wife of the late Peter B. Mitchell and the daughter of the late Deering and Hilda Gray, sister to Gerald. She leaves her loving legacy to her daughter Erin and son Andrew, to Erin 's husband Adam and her daughter Kaiti, and to Andrew 's wife Kathleen and his children Matthew and Moriah.

Patricia was a dedicated community nurse for many years, providing care and support to families in their homes. Patricia had an amazing ability to make people smile and feel comfortable. Throughout her life, Patricia remained a positive light, touching so many who crossed her path.

Patricia will always be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and gentle lady, who deeply cared for others. Her family will forever hold close the memories of a loving dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who always had the time and a friendly word for everyone.


Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, Bracebridge on Thursday November 24, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 p.m. and on Friday November 25, 2016 at Bracebridge United Church from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at the Bracebridge United Church on Friday November 25, 2016 at 1 pm , with family friend the Reverend Dr. James Thomson officiating.
