With great sadness, the family of Ruth Kaye announces the passing of a loving wife, mother, Nanny, GiGi, sister, sister-in-law & aunt. Ruth passed away peacefully, at home in her 86th year, with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Don (predeceased March 2012) for 63 wonderful years, devoted mother of Heather, Donna Cole, and Bob (Charmaine). Predeceased by infant daughter Sharon. Precious Nanny of Michelle (Dan) Holmes, Jason (Heather) Cole, Matthew (Jess) Kaye, Megan (Sean) & Jillian Cole, and Jamieson (Hannah) Kaye, and cherished “GiGi” of Avery & Kinley Holmes, Ryker & Daxon Kaye and Lincoln & Kennedy Cole. Sister of Rex (Kay) Bogart, sister-in-law of Shirley Gauley & Norma Kaye. Predeceased by her parents Reta & Wyman Bogart and infant sister Joan. The family will receive friends at Reynolds Funeral Home “Turner Chapel”, 1 Mary St., Bracebridge on Friday, December 16th from 10:00 a.m – 12:00 p.m. The service will follow in the Chapel at 12:00 noon p.m. with Rev. Sue Woods officiating. Please join the family at St. Thomas Anglican Church for refreshments after the service. At Ruth’s request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the OSPCA Muskoka Branch or South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated. Her love has made our world a better place.
