Norma Georgina Longhurst
Norma Georgina Longhurst (nee O’Brien), died peacefully at Muskoka Shores in Gravenhurst on Sunday, November 20th, 2016 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Longhurst. Dear mother of Lyle Longhurst, Donna Ruttan (the late Eric), Karen Longhurst (Fernando Mastromonaco) and Sandra Longhurst. Loving grandmother of Pamela, Holly, Deric, Jason, Matthew, Chantal, Sébastien & Stéphane Lavergne. She is also survived by several great grandchildren. She is the last of a family of 13.
The family will receive friends at Knox Presbyterian Church at 120 Taylor Road in Bracebridge on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The service will be held in the Church on Monday, November 28th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the M.S. Society, Sick Children’s Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Society of Muskoka. Arrangements entrusted to the Reynolds Funeral Home “Turner Chapel” in Bracebridge.
