Mary Victoria Ballantine, at the age of 98, passed away at The Pines on January 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ballantine. Loving mother of Connie (Robert) Knighton of Bracebridge and Major Leonard (Major Heather) Ballantine of Parry Sound. Dearest grandmother of Sarah (Jeff) Cooke, Barbara Knighton-Harris (Jesse Campbell), Captain Carolyn (Captain Michael) Simpson, Kathryn (Kyle) Higgins, and David Ballantine. Great grandmother of Spencer & Megan, Rachael, Robert, William, Matthew, Hannah, Timothy, Eli and Elizabeth. Pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters Gilbert, Stanley, Reginald, Edward, Clifford, Doris Voisey, Edythe Spurrier, Beatrice Lambert, and Gladys O’Connor. Survived by her sisters-in-law Major Jean Williams and Mrs. Angela Williams.

Visitation will take place on Monday, January 30th, 2017 one hour prior to the service at the Salvation Army Bracebridge Community Church. Funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 30th, 2017. Reception to follow the service at the church. A burial in the Spring will take place.
