The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Ballantine can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Connie and Leonard and Families:

What beautiful stories are being shared about Auntie Mary. Our deepest condolences to all the family. She was indeed a strong woman. Your care was extraordinary. It was so special to be able to attend the celebration service from afar. Thank you for arranging to have the live stream. May you find peace and strength in your memories. We are thinking of you with love.

Condolence: Sending my sincere condolences for the loss of a very lovely lady. I taught with Mary at Bracebridge Public School. She taught in the classroom next door to me as I was beginning my teaching career. She was such a kind and gentle person who always had time for a chat. She loved sharing stories about her family.
Sincerely Beverley Daleman

Condolence: What a treasure Mary Ballantyne was to us--always friendly and gracious and caring. We knew her from the Salvation Army and always enjoyed her soothing voice when she sang a solo. She was a family friend in the very best sense of the word. I had the privilege and honour of teaching with Mary at Bracebridge Public School--no better colleague could one ask for. We loved her very much...as well as her husband Don...and her family. We have been richly blessed because we had the opportunity to rub shoulders with a wonderful, caring saint of God. We pray you will be comforted by the Holy Spirit of God in this period of bereavement. God bless you all. Gary and Grace
