The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Norman Mahon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

"Normy"

I remember the days when Norm loved coming to the farm to visit and often for extended stays at a time.  He thoroughly enjoyed his Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Arn, but especially his Aunt Dorothy.  They seemed to have a bit of a special connection, with Mom taking him under her wing for a little "extra" help with school work.   He loved to fondly reminisce that he received some very special attention - in and out of school.

From smelt fishing as a kid to helping out occasionally during haying season, Norm was a prescence around the farm for many years.  Although we could never interest him in riding the horses, he loved the sense of family and I was honoured to include him as a groomsmen in my wedding party.

And when I had my own children he seemed to have that same special connection, that he had with Mom, with my daughter Brittni.

Norm, a simple man with simple needs, will be remembered for his kind nature and his sense of fun and laughter.

God Bless You and Keep You Norm!
