The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Zionnie Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Jeanine Robertson

We all knew her as Zionnie, Zi, Mom, Grandma, Zamboni (children at the daycare) and most touching to me, our girls called her MIMI. 17 years ago I entered the Family and 11 years ago she was officially my Mother-in-Law. So hard to say goodbye when you are not ready to. Loving, kind, giving, patient, good heart, loyal and respected were all qualities found in Zi. I thank her for being the best Mother-in-Law one can have but I most appreciate the way Bob & Zi have raised their 3 sons. These qualities shine in every one of them. Her face lit up everytime she spoke of them. They have made her proud and will continue to do so I am sure. She has not only made an impact on myself thru the years but also SO loved by our two little girls. Zi rarely missed a birthday party, dance rehersal, skate carnival or gymnastics competition. Thru rain or snow storms this did not stop her. Camping trips to taking them for a week in the summer, she enjoyed it all. She was a PROUD Mimi and Gracie & Reese will miss her dearly. As the girls say, "Mimi is having a party with the angels and one day we will see her again." The memories will continue to be shared in our home as well as all the photos. You will be terribly missed but NEVER forgotten. We love you! ❤
