Condolence From: Jean and Ken Johnson
Condolence: Sheila has gone to a better place.Jean leaned on her sister over the years to remember all their many relatives in Canada and in Scotland. If I ever questioned an old picture, Jean would be quick to say,"ask Sheila". More often that not Sheila DID know who the folks were. Rest in peace Sheila and don't take any guff from Mel.Just have a couple of dances. Love ,,Jean and Ken, Jerry and Louise and family,,Clark and Cindy and family,, Nancy and Jerry Panchuk and family

Condolence From: Rene Newton
Condolence: I was 15yo when I got my first job at Camp Wanikewin on the Pickerel River working for Mel and Sheila in 1979. My Grandfather and Grandmother (Ernie and Edith Newton) also worked at the camp. I have a lot of special memories of that time in my life. Mel and Sheila were like family to me. Sheila used to make me cheese buns which she knew was my favourite!!! An amazing cook is an understatement. I learned a lot of morals and values in my couple of years working there. I still go to the river and can picture Mel and Sheila standing on the front step every time I go by......rest in peace.
